Can you describe your role and key responsibilities in the HR department?


As the Head of People at weWow, my role is focused on attracting, nurturing, and retaining top talent. I manage the entire employee journey—from recruitment and onboarding to ensuring that every team member remains engaged and motivated throughout their time at weWow. Prior to this, I spent 12 years in the retail industry, working for an iconic denim brand. Branding and strong values were essential to stand out and engage with both our audience and employees. This experience fueled my passion for brand management, which I now apply to creating an impactful and engaging employee experience at weWow.


What have been some of your biggest challenges in attracting top talent?

One of our biggest challenges in attracting top talent has been crafting an attractive employee value proposition that truly stands out and resonates with candidates. In a competitive market, differentiating our brand and ensuring potential employees see the unique benefits of joining us is key. Additionally, being competitive within our industry while still maintaining our core values and company culture requires us to constantly adapt and innovate to meet candidate expectations. Balancing these elements while remaining true to who we are as a company has been a challenge we continue to refine.

And when it comes to employee onboarding?

Creating a sense of belonging for new hires from day one is a challenge we’re always refining. We want our employees to instantly feel connected to our mission and core values, but aligning them with our vision while ensuring they aren't overwhelmed can be tricky at times.

That's why we're designing a personalized weWow onboarding experience—one that’s structured yet engaging. This helps integrate new hires into our workflows and culture step by step, allowing them to feel part of the team while keeping the process manageable and meaningful.

In what ways do you promote company culture through internal initiatives?
